I did still have the factory stock head unit, but the speakers were so much
better quality then factory ones. I love listening to music in the truck
since it is so much more crisp and clearer.

What I did was just turn the truck on accessory, and have the wires touch
before crimping them together.
How did you know what wire was positive or negative? And did the plastic
covers ever fit back on or did you have any trouble with that ?

Did you have after market head unit or stock. If it’s stock how did the
speakers sound with the stock head unit.
