You might have a short in the front signal socket that the bulb goes into.
I would try changing the socket and the bulb. Either that, or call up
GHOSTBUSTERS!!! Seriously, I hope it is just a short or loose wire and

My signal ticks fast for up to several months then ticks normally for
several days then back to fast for several months. When it ticks normally I
have checked and both front and back lights are working. When it’s fast
only the back is working. Seems I am the only one in the world with this

My problem is the blinker might work for a few seconds then it will just go
solid. Sometimes it doesn’t work at all and sometimes it works fine, anyone
have any ideas???

I actually think I found the problem. I changed the bulb and the old one
was severely corroded. Checked other side and both bulb and unit seem to be
brand new and I have had the car since ’06.
