Thank you for the video. The dealer way over tightened mine and i was
worried maybe i was doing something wrong trying to get the cap plastic cap
off. I recently went to a different fuel station, soon after my “water in
fuel light came on”. just by draining the fuel filter housing, i got 1/3
cup of water out of it! i’ll be checking mine more often. thanks
again.
Why do you have to drain the diesel from the filter housing? Could you not
just pull the old filter out and put the new filter in, then you wouldn’t
have to prime it? Just bought a cummins and wondering if it matters before
i change mine. Good video
Nice video. FWIW, the torque specs on that canister lid is 24ft lbs. Mine
will leak if it’s not torqued.
