Good video. Had a neighbor vomw over and chat with me so didn't get to even finish the video, but swapped an old distributor cap after noticing the center stud was rather warn & she popped right off!
Aver si es eso con ma mia hace lo mismo only çranks
Gracias hermano igualamente
Maestro como se llama este tester. Por favor.
Mine seems like it has fuel. No start with starting fluid. Fuel sprays out of the relief valve on the rail. Replaced the TPS. Cranks good, but no start still. Ran earlier in the day. Dies at idle. Now won’t start
I stg my truck died on the side of the highway 1 week ago and this is a HUGE MF help dude I’m checking the ignition coil rn
Thanks I’ll try this. My 96 dodge 1500 cranks but won’t start too. I need to buy one of those tester things you got.
I have a 5.2 Dodge, looking for answers, yesterday I replaced the distributor cap rotor, the coil oh, and the crankshaft sensor I still have no spark? Some say the plugs and wires Maybe and on some blogs they say it could be the computer?
Y en español para los cuates? También ocupamos ayuda los latinos bro
Not sure how true it is but i heard that you can show getting spark out of the coil but it sometimes isn't enough spark to be efficient. I assume just change the coil too
Awesome job man. I appreciate this. I will try on my truck tomorrow
Great job primo, and thanks for taking the time to explain this to us,god bless have a nice day
I changed my fuel pump, fuel pump relay, starter, and spark plugs on my 1997 dodge ram 1500 5.9 magnum and she still wont start. The gas gauge is not working either i ran out of options of what it might be, would any one know what the problem is?
Would this send an engine code
Mine is doing the same thing can u please help
Very good step by step video looking forward to more videos
Brass distributor caps and the more expensive brass rotor last a lot longer. I try to only use the better cap and wires on mine because it's such a pain to get to on these engines. And dielectric grease on the contacts so they don't corrode. I just use the stock Champion plugs because I've used the expensive ones before, and I noticed no difference except the price.
This is a common problem with Dodge/Jeep Dakota's, Rams, Wranglers. Random crank/no start and stalling suddenly. I've seen people replace the coil, cap/rotor, camshaft and crankshaft sensor, fuel pump and finally PCM. No one has the right answer on why this happens. A vehicle that suddenly stops at highway speeds is dangerous and their should be a massive lawsuit. When the vehicle doesn't want to start, gauges are dead. Then later on gauges come alive and vehicle starts
Thanks for the help. God bless you too
Finally someone who's smart enough to explain this I've been searching and looking for almost a decade now reason being I don't know anything about dodge and my brother was in a fatal accident that ended up with him and three others loosing there life and his trucks the only thing I have left and it ended up losing its life with them (it flipped into a fish hatchery) yes it's sad but life goes on and I've been trying to repair it so I can at least have that to remember him/them by thank you so much I can't explain how much appreciation I have for you now
Awesome, the secret is revealed. Great job! Great use off your camera!
Thanks. Just found my router contact at a 45 degree. Plastic wore out and the coil to distribute completely black. Helped huge
