how do you bleed out all of the air
do you have to replace the hoses?
Thank you so much, this is much better than the Haynes manual!
@eifeldude1 Not a problem. We all can use a little help from time to time.
don’t forget to bleed out all the trapped air other wise your thermostat
valve wont be under the right pressure and your van will over heat. other
wise good how to tip vid.
@csstreeter Your Welcome.
Thank you so very much. I now have a brand new water Pump on my van and its
all to you.
@elcubeo Your Welcome!
thank you!
thank you very much Mrs Lancaster Loogie . my dodge caravan just
overheating 3 days ago. this was exactly i needed to replacement the water
pump . thank you for posting this video. it’s so much helpful i will do it
now. thanks again my friend .
I can’t believe I was putting this off for so long, This is actually pretty
easy to access. Thanks for the help and motivation to tackle the job!
I am no expert but I rewatched the video to see the placement of everything
and that would be the first thing I would look at. Also do a visual
inspection all around the area to ensure there are no cracks on the engine
any where around it. Other then that I really wouldn’t know unless I was
there.
@Internationalists 🙂 🙂 🙂
Hey, if there is a steady water leak right above where the bottom hose
connects from the radiator, that’s probably the water pump, eh?
Good vid! How much was all the parts? And can you list them as well please?
@elcubeo No problem! I thought the same way until I got the job done myself!
@djoeyd114 Now that’s a hell of a Compliment!!! Thank You!
Your very Welcome!
Not a problem. We all can use a little help from time to time.

changing the water pump on the 96-01 3.3 is a dream compared to the 02-and
up. Thanks for taking the time to post this!
About to do this this afternoon. Not looking forward to it.
No I did not show how to take off the water pump but if you listen closely
I will explain how it is done. If this video even helps out 1 person in
their time of need then my job is done!!!! m/NO FLATS!m/
Your the man…my rubber plug deal on the side of the water pump popped
out…was gonna see if that was fixable but if its this easy ill replace
the whole thing whether i have too or not…thanks alot for the video…you
should do more videos…more people relate to a regular guy explaining it ,
especially how you layed it out…preciate it….plan on knockin it out in
the mornin..ur the man…thanks dude
Thank you so much! this was exactly what I needed.
If you don’t remove the splash guard it will be a pain!!! I used Vaseline
as my sealant. If you have any question please ask. Its not too hard. Once
you get it done you will definitely be happy. You will save a couple of
hundred of dollars.
