So I wonder how much of the 'burning smell' came from keeping the starter solenoid energized for however long that jumper wire was hooked up……….? Also – small starters usually have a planetary gear reduction box in them so they can be made..smaller.
Nice to see the scrap mickey mouse cars. We here on EU at least have a cars but the mickey mouse "cars" are such a poor quality. Scotty, buy the EU made Mercedes, you will love it. Of course you are too old to make a love on the back seat, but what a nice made car.

Hi scotty, I have a 2004 honda crv 4wd manual transmission which eningen oil is best suited 0w-20 or 5w-20, and can you please help me out in how to maintenance work on my 2004 crv. Thank you.
I also had the engine hood refuse to stay open on a Chrysler. Both of the pistons that should hold the hood up seemed to be worn out. The pistons on the trunk lid were still strong, despite being opened and closed much more than the hood. The trunk did have a different problem, which was that the cable, apparently for telling the security system if the trunk had been opened, had become stretched. The result of this problem was that the horn would start honking if the trunk lid was closed while the doors were locked, of course not happening consistently enough to show it to a repairman.

One of the first things they teach you in mechanic school is put positive terminal on first. Less chance of blowing your head off especially after checking the battery and you know it’s ripe to explode.
I would never buy a ram cuz the truck may outlast the starter, nice video though!
