If your vehicle has a cabin filter than this is the correct procedure. The
grate that you found is probably there because your vehicle isn’t equipped
with one.
Does this work for a 2010 dodge grand caravan?? Because when I opened it up
there was just a grate looking thing there. :/
If your vehicle has a filter it will be located under the glove box. Our
AQ1049 video shows you where it would be, however many models were made
without access to the filter housing. If your vehicle doesn’t has access to
the housing then you don’t have a cabin air filter.

All of our information about the 2009 says that the filter door would be
located behind the glove box. If there is no filter door than the housing
may be sealed so that you can’t install a filter. It does say that the
right hand drive would be a little different from the left hand drive but
we don’t have any information past that.

The cabin filter for the 2003 is in the same place as indicated in the
video. However the cabin filter was not standard equipment on this model so
you should check to make sure you have one if you are planning to replace
it.

arrangement is the same but filter location is different Do know where the
