That Ginger Troll says:

This doesn’t work for our 2005 caravan

filterheads says:

We’re glad our video could help!

L. Marcel Dupras says:

Yes, put the old one back in and throw out the new one.

Gurleen Datla says:

Thank you we had to struggle with ours but we got it 😀

John Urbano says:

I can’t find the filter box in my Dodge SXT 4.0L Grand Caravan 2010. After I opened the glove compartment I can only see a sealed box. Somebody can help me?

Christian Garcia says:

Ewwwwwwwwww lol

kevdm9999 says:

some caravans do not have a filter…

muddack says:

I opened up the cover at the wiper blade area and there is no Filter under there. only a sealed unit under the glove box!! so I guess I have to search for the reciepts and return mu filter..grrrr! fuckin Dodge!

muddack says:

I see lots of questions about the 2007. I am going out to see if its up near the wipers as it is said to be on some of the other years. I am not tearing apart the under dash to find out it’s not there. I have found several questions and no answers. I will be back!

muddack says:

my 2007 Caravan does not seem to have the locking clip and removable door. but partsource sells me the filter for my van?? is there a way into the filter housing? or did the ass just sell me a filter for a different year beacause they are all generally the same filter and he guessed at it? it looks just like the one in this video but the entrance area is sealed.

filterheads says:

Our AQ1119 video shows you the right procedure for the 2008-2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. You can find this video by searching “AQ1119”.

Rich V. says:

What cabin filter is required for a 2010 Dodge Caravan SE? It doesn’t appear to be listed here.

Dennis Leslie says:

Should I put the new one in or put the dirty old one back in like the video shows and then throw away the new one? lol

filterheads says:

You’re welcome!

Ned Ryerson says:

Excellent video! Thank you very much.

jastexas123172 says:

This is exactly the same on my 2005 T & C. Mine was just as dirty as the one on the video. As soon as I changed I noticed the A/C was blowing considerably cooler air. Thanks for the awesome video!

utsuriman says:

I have 03 SXT Caravan 3.3 . Took me 2 days lookin for filter. Bought one at parts store. Called dealer Told me some dont have them some do. I said WHAT? Yes some do & dont Is that weird or what man. I looked & looked & returned the darn filter

filterheads says:

We’re actually in the middle of editing a 2011 Grand Caravan video, so hopefully that will be up soon! The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box, and the filter that fits is the AQ1119 filter.

Gary Stone says:

Where is it located on a 2009 or later?

mdmcolt says:

I Have a 2002 Dodge Caravan And it Has A Cabin air filter

ssl668 says:

I took my 2007 dodge caravan to a local auto zone parts store and the employee looked at filter housing under passanger dash and noticed there is no locking bracket or even a entry for a filter. But removed 3 bolts and we could see a filter barely inside . It has one and cant be removed through bottom. Do you know if it is only removed by removing dash board And if the locking bracket / filter entry/removal port is on top?

John Agricola says:

Here’s the deal: If your van has front AND rear a/c and heat…you change the filter as explained above. HOWEVER: if your van has FRONT ONLY a/c and heat (with seperate driver/pass. controls)…the video does NOT apply. This is a different unit and there is no door to remove. There may or may not be a factory installed filter in there, but there’s nothing you can do about it. I have the short wheelbase, and my van has NO removable door.

filterheads says:

Our video states that they take the same filter, which is correct. All of our data points to the filter being located in the same place. If it is located somewhere else, then where?

Rick Graydon says:

Everyone is right the dodge and town & country for 2000 & 2001 have filter at bottom as shown.
But sorry 2002 to 2007 in a different place. Filter Heads should do a better job of research before stating 2001 to 2007.

nc2k247 says:

I have the same question about the ’07 Dodge Grand Caravan that I just bought for my mom. The owner’s manual describes replacing the cabin filter in the same way as shown in the video, but, when I look under the dash there is no opening. The housing is smooth and does not have any opening like the one in this video. The build sheet/option list also indicates that the van has a filter. Very confusing. Guess I have to contact a Chrysler dealer. :/

Guojun Zhu says:

Mine 2005 Carevan SE 3.3 has no opening like that. It is sealed. I am debating whether to disassemble it.

musanggubat says:

i have 2007 dodge grand caravan and i don’t see where is the cabin filter location

ssl668 says:

I have same problem and or no problem. I have a 2007 dodge caravan . I see that a filter port area that does not have a locking 2 piece door for filter extraction. I took it to a local auto zone and store manager partially dissasembled area where filter location is and showed me there is a filter installed and to replace/remove whole filter is a mystery. Is my model van only with a “Non-replaceable” filter? Or can it be done by removing part of top dash and a locking cover is on top?

retepsnimmuc says:

Extremely well done and helpful. Thanks!

lukephilipsmith says:

We were just discussing the “cutting” possibility yesterday for Caravan owners like yourself. Many of the Caravans on the road that (according to Chrysler’s service data) should have an opening for the filter don’t actually have it. The problem is that you won’t have the locking cover for the bottom of the housing to re-seal the hole and hold the filter in place.

Another issue is that you could easily cut into your heater core with the saw if you are not careful.

ksky213 says:

i have a 03 caravan and it doesn’t seems to have the lids. Should I use a saw to open it up?

ABel Leyva says:

thank you very useful

oroszfamily says:

I have a 2006 Town & Country touring with 3.8L engine. It does not have an access door, even though the owners manual and my Chilton repair manual say that it does. I also checked behind the glove box. It appears that some models don’t have a replaceable filter, and the manuals weren’t updated to reflect that fact. I can post a video response if needed.

jap0rms says:

This is the exact same setup on my 2005 T&C.

filterheads says:

– All of our research shows that the 2006 Town&Country has the same cabin filter setup as the Caravan. However, we have not gotten our hands on that exact model. Can you be more specific about how yours is different? Maybe post a video response.
