If you do not replace the stereo head unit leave the factory amplifier
connected and just hook up your speaker to the wires that were connected to
the factory speaker… If you replace stereo head unit this video works
perfectly … Might be common sense to some people but it had me stumped
for a minute maybe this will help you out if you’re having any trouble like

Thanks! Stephen had a good point if you keep the deck then use the horse
shoe shaped amps. If you replace the deck cut them out At least that’s my
thoughts on it
did you replace the stereo unit as well or just the speakers because i did
this the rear speaker works but cant get sound from the new 6×9 with the
factory stereo unit
I really appreciate the video man. I’m about to put new 6×9’s in my door of
my 99 1500 and was curious if it will have a factory amp and if so how to I

Hey brother thanks for this video man just what the doctor ordered but the
wiring diagram was fuzzy I can’t make it out could you please respond back
to this and tell me were I can find those diagrams cause your right its
like some kind of Dodge conspiracy going on with those diagrams can’t find
them anywhere
