Cool video! I’ve had a weird issue with my volume not being able to turn up
past 1. My radio will turn on and everything, but the volume won’t adjust.
You know what that might be? Also my cruise control only works between
66-73mph which is really weird?!

Kevin Ortega says:

Thanks man

BigBalthazor says:

@Atblueram1500 I Have had no issue with my lights. I replaced them them
with leds last summer. Try pulling out the bulbs and applying so conductive
gel. Also turn them back and forth a couple of time so they will “dig” in
to the metal layer

Thanks!!!!

Is there a radio wire diagram label on the radio by any chance?? before i
just pull the radio out?? I have a single cab 07 dodge, and since there are
soo many models of dodges out there, really hard to find a proper wiring
diagram online.

BigBalthazor says:

Kristopher Holmes says:

Thanks man. You save me a headache trying to figure out how to get that
sucker out of there.

BigBalthazor says:

I cant remember how many I needed but I found the order forum from
superbrightleds com. I bought 12 B8.5d-BHP for the instrument cluster and 3
NEO5-BPH for the vent controller. Also on the B8.5D led’s you may need to
bend the top two metel tab down and i think the overhead unit uses the same
as the vent controller

sactokid43 says:

Shortkid110 says:

wheel and tire.

BigBalthazor says:

I just put the tint on the clear plastic. Another idea would be to buy a
blue Gel sheet (link above) and cut it to fit in the space

Chad Hudson says:

Very helpful and to the point.

I have a 2007 looks exactly like yours…. just making sure that this
(stock) is a single din unit correct?

johnsfreitag says:

Thank you. This was a big help in installing an iPod cable in to the stock
radio/gps in my 3500 Mega cab. It took about an hour and would have taken
much longer if I had to figure it out for myself. My thanks to you and all
who take the time to post these instructional vids.

I was hoping you could help me with a question that I have on my truck. The
high beam blue light indicator is extremely bright and irritating at night.
Is there a way to get a dimmer bulb or a way to dim it somehow??? Thank you.

eldoradoman22 says:

Great how-to, thanks man!

Patyacht says:

I have the same vehicle without the lower center console and the procedure
is the same except you do not not have to worry about the lower console.
Start with the 2 screws he mentions.

likquidsmoke says:

Thank you you saved me a big pain in the ass..trying to get this apart..

farnsworth81 says:

Awesome. You saved me about an hours worth of guess work and aggravation.

BigBalthazor says:

@CaseIH232 when you buy the install kit its made to fit in thous holes.
Also if you install a double din you will need buy a new bezel or just cut
it out to make it fit (doesn’t look half bad)

TheNathan2010 says:

great video man. i havent had to take my dash apart yet but now i know how
if i need to. thanks

clarkjm11 says:

Question for you- all the aftermarket stereos are just a rectangle how will
they mount on the ram with the volume and tuner knobs cutting out off the
sides?

beaufort12 says:

THANK YOU! Your instructions worked perfectly on my 2008 Ram 2500. You sure
saved me a lot of time and effort!

Michael Carmer says:

Very imformative. Thanks. Why dodge thought of putting all these mixed
pieces connected together its like a maze to get to what you want to take
off.

Atblueram1500 says:

@BigBalthazor have you ever had any problems with the lights on you heat
controls.? mine are half working right now and sometimes if you flick the
heat controls with your finger they turn on for and work for a few days
then slowly go out, the flick trick doesnt seem to work anymore, any
sugesttions? replace the bulbs maybe?
