I’m getting ready to do a passenger side regulator replacement on an ’01 Sebring convertible. I would have enjoyed watching you wrestle the regulator back into position. Thanks for taking the time to do this. It will help me.
thanks. yours is better than the other videos.
the regulator is a sketchy design i removed the little plastic opening down by the speaker so i can see it and when it quits working if you bump the silver verminotar thing slightly they rengage and work fine, on my driver and passenger, the design looks like the spring track is pulling dirt and grim & grease into the regulator every time the window goes up and down –both of mine, mine started 3 years of age roughly cant see wasting the money putting the same type back in it
Thanks for the video dave. The drill trick for rolling the window up and down was really helpful.
Very Good! your video did help me out, thank you very much appreciated it.
out of the several videos on this subject. I like this on the best.
This procedure is the same for all Caravan, Voyager and T&C models. as are the parts.
Note; I live in the desert where temps in the summer run 100 f +. When I went to open up my 2003 Caravan all of the plastic door snaps and the door latch clip fell apart. And the black vapor barrier came off in strips. This is from baking in the sun for 10 years. So be prepared to replace them if you live in the same environment.
Ouch that sucks!
I had replaced just the motor about 3 times (lifetime warranty on the replacement part) and this last time I tried too the spool with all the wire just exploded. I tried to re-spool it, but pandora’s box had been opened.
This wasn’t that bad, but I get to go to the dealership today to buy their ridiculously priced door trim panel clips
Better than nothing…. Lol
Even though the video wasn’t what you had hoped it still helped me get the job done faster than if I hadn’t seen it. Thanks!
Many many thanks. Doing this was a snap after watching your great video. Would have taken me 4 hours, 12 beer and several bloody knuckles without your help. Keep it up!
Great! Just take your time and you will get it! Thanks for the comment!
I appreciate your video. It was exactly what I needed. I’m going to give mine a try now. Thanks!
Great Vid!
@geobrighton 1hr. That was a mountain dew and two smokes breaks because it was a hot morning. Thanks for the comment!
how long was the time to do it, in real time, you have done this before, wow that was great.
