rick hctep says:

I think before I would have tackled that job the first thing I would have
done is steam cleaned that shit hole of an engine and engine bay out, just
a couple of grains of muck would have knackered the whole box up, plus if
it had been cleaned in the first place you would have seen where the leak
was straight away before wasting time and money doing an unnecessary gasket
job.

Ricardo Rosales says:

Hi, why not only changing the Gaskets if there is a link coming from TCS?

Great video. Very helpful. Would a bad TC Solenoid cause a car to stall
when it’s placed from park into drive or reverse?

I have a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.8 V6 engine. It shifts really
hard when I put it in Drive from Reverse and I believe it is being stuck in
1st or 2nd because it seems like it won’t shift at all. It stays between
2-3,000 RPM’s and won’t shift after 2nd. My husband said he doesn’t believe
it’s shifting out of 1st but it does for me. Any suggestions? Also, how do
you unplug the Torque Converter Plug? Thanks

I have a 03 neon and I out it in drive and its good for like half a block
then it stops going I accelerate and the rpm goes up and it’s on drive it’s
as if u put it on nutral wen ur steal in drive can u help??

james dilks says:

one thing that makes it easier is to remove the cooler hoses to get to that
center bolt with a swivel or wobble extension, also on some 41te
transmossions on older vehicles there is a service bulliten that has to do
with tapping the case behind the solonoid due to the metal of the case
being too porous

timothy w says:

Similar what acura tL has

JAZCENIA PAREDEZ says:

On this neon after the install there was nothing else that had to be done.

dadrules714 says:

What codes r U getting? turn key forward3x’s w/o starting. leave forward on
3rd give u dash codes. had same prob w/ P300 random misfire. Battery was
bad + bad O2 sensor. Bad solenoid/ trans probs are usually in the P750
range.
