Ernesto, did you make sure to reset the timing chain adjuster after
everything was setting on place and correctly timed?

Michael Ballard says:

+Geneive Rodriquez +Geneive Rodriguez (there were two of you.) Check out
the Youtube “Chrysler Mastertech 1997 2.7L, 3.2L, 3.5L V6 engines PART 2”
It has a good bit on setting the timing on the 2.7

All that for a water pump, what a joke on Chryslers part

Geneive Rodriquez says:

I had to replace the water pump on my chrysler 300 05 2.7. But the whole
timing thing is driving me crazy. We have not been able to start it. So
please help me with how to time it right please

Jon Thanos says:

You actually did a good video job, if you could as well putting it back
together, i just got the whole timing chain kit with waterpump and on
putting the waterpump back in it mentions an o-ring, it has a gasket but im
not clear on if just the gasket with the rubber lining the gasket is all it
needs or am i missing something.?

Joyce Joyce says:

Id be more worried about that carbon/sludge buildup.Image inside oil pan
and sump, let along all that build up inside head. What oil do you use, what
weight and how often you really changed it? I hope you get a bit more use
outta that 2.7 cause by look of sludge buildup it isn’t gonna be to much
longer .How many miles you have on it too?You may want bore inspect that
cause that is a lot of buildup, before you go putting anymore money into
that engine….
That is not the original water pump either, looks like it has been replaced
before.Hope you didn’t get it off eBay ….

Ernesto Lopez says:

I really appreciate it if you help me out.

Ernesto Lopez says:

Hey I have a question.. I did all that. But when I turn on the car it makes
a noise. Like if the timing belt….

Damien Colletti says:

Nice job you seem to know your stuff!
