Nick I have a DreamCruiser PT Turbo I need to get to a bulb in the cluster
where my gas indicator does not light up so I have no idea how much gas I
have at night do I have to remove the whole dashboard? I hope not a guy
wants to charge me 200.00 to remove just the dash board

Ed G says:

Hey Nick, Do you have any metric tools? 7/16 wrench, are you working on a
67 Corvette?I think a 10mm wrench will work better on the battery. Puddy
knife and adjustable wrench, are you doing pluming on the side? But cool
video : )

Im having the exact same problem but i do think you have to remove the
dashboard. There is no other way to get to the back of the console where
the lights are.

Christian Dominguez says:

how would you replace the light bulbs on the cluster?

jay jesper says:

Thank you so much for loading this video….I followed your instructions
and I changed all my cluster bulbs. I have a PT Chrysler 2003 2.2 diesel.
Could you show me how to change a thermostat? I think perhaps it is a bit
harder to change one on the diesel version. I tried then i stopped as i
thought it would be a big job. Is it??

Dylan H says:

Hey Nick. If I just have a cracked upper dashboard, do I have to go through
all the same steps? 2002 PT

NicksMaintenance says:

@4256573 I only use it when my hands don’t have enough power to force it
out of the way.

Ed G says:

you have to remove the dash cluster to get to the fuel bulb

NicksMaintenance says:

@Moz2407 No problem. 🙂 I’m glad it worked out for you.

NWB1989 says:

@Dchristian100 You need to go to the auto parts store and have them replace
them for you.

This was a very helpful video i really appreciate it! I saved $80.00 that
the mechanic wanted to charge. I did find the bulbs were cheaper at the
dealership than napa by a dollar a piece. The only thing is i had trouble
getting the dash back down all the way. Also it would have been a little
more helpful to show us where the bulbs were visually then to just say they
are in the back of the gages . But hey thanks a bunch i apprecial it!!!!
Thank you again!!!!

When did you use the putty knife? Don’t the plastic covers that cover the
front columns have to be removed? Thanks

GreenCron1 says:

Randy Allen Groat Jr. says:
