Dorian: Yes we do. Depending on engine size and fuel type (gas or flex fuel) there are several options. If you visit the FuelPumpU website and go to the “Vehicle Search”, you can find the exact one that you need for your specific application. do u have one for the 2008 sebring
The removal of the tank & fuel pump will be similar, but not exactly the same. You can use this for reference, but there will probably be a few differences between the two cars. If you need anymore help please call our free tech line: 800-424-7839. Thanks for watching!
is it the same for a stratus 1999?
also check injectors to make sure they are sprayin like they supose to. u can do this by getting the car to start and run( try holding gas pedal down) and have a buddy listen for clicking sound on top of injectors with a stethescope. check em all .if u have a 4 cylinder and only two injectors firing correctly then this could cause the car to run rough or stalling.
how many miles u have on ur car? sounds like an ignition problem. like the car is not getting enough fuel. have u tried keepin ur feet on the trottle to keep it alive instaeda of just crankin it? how about cleaning the throttle body and the idle air control valve as this can cause this problem due to not allowing enough air flow though the engine.
dat shit easy as hell. all u need is patience, and a safe place to do the job. oh and the right tools.
Just a quick question, if you fail to do this for your car since 1997, would that cause the problem to turn off completely after you start it? Reason being is because my 1997 Serbring Convertable, when i start it, turns off within 1 minute, then the oil light turns on….could this video be a solution?
Thanks!
Depending on the model of the car, the labor time to replace the fuel pump should be between 0.7 to 1.7 hours. Local labor rates vary, but you can use this labor time estimate to get an idea of how much it will cost. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
How much will it cost to have a mechanic do this for me?
so glad the video helped you out. Thanks for watching!
