Redoing heads on Daughters 3.7 Liberty… Have never done a head replacement where had to access the timing chain system that required removal of harmonic balancer. Your video is succinct and has excellent explanations and insights… Thank you!

Nick Ruffin says:

I used the Autozone kit and put the rod in tightened it down – it bottomed out so we removed it and could not get the rod out of the Bolt. It was stuck – stuck – stuck. Had to use a vice and a prybar to get it out. I watched this and saw that the rond went in and out easily. I still don't have the balancer off yet. We will try your extension trick tomorrow.

Jason G says:

I tried the extension trick so i wouldn't have to wait for another puller. Unfortunately, where once the extension easily went in with no bind, now is stuck. I am just praying i don't snap it off in there and the threads are still good.
