Chris Clark says:

The first time my regulator broke I the it to a mechanic. That cost me $290.00. I watch this and did it myself for $80. Thank you for this video! Your like the magician that shows the secretes behind the tricks.

Kelly Crocker says:

GREAT VIDEO, Im a 49 yr old women that just changed out my first regulator and motor. I have watch many videos, and yours was the BEST and u made it look so easy. The only thing I had an issue with was getting the regulator clip hook to the window. But I figure it out. Thanks so much for these awesome videos. Kelly from Indiana

1aauto says:

What you should do is test the connection to make sure you are getting power to the window regulator when you press the down or up button. As long as you always get power, then the issue will be related to the window motor.

vdavis55 says:

Will this work for a 2006 chyrsler 300?? Both of my rear Windows are stuck. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t.

Heather Corner says:

You guys are great saved me lots of money thanks for sharing your wisdom with us

1aauto says:

If the regulator is in good shape, you should be able to just replace the window motor on your Chrysler Town and Country. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

knobsdog1 says:

At one point you talk about replacing the motor if it does nothing when you hit the switch. That’s what I’m dealing with. I’m guessing if it’s the motor you don’t have to replace the regulator arm correct?

knobsdog1 says:

At one point you talk about replacing the motor

1aauto says:

It may be a similar procedure to the one shown in this video. You should be able to apply some of the basic procedures to your application. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Gregory Watts says:

Great video, thanks! Just finished mine on a 2003 Grand Caravan Sport. Very similar, only instead of plastic rivets, there were T30 Torx bolts with rubber nuts, or something. Took a minute to get it off, but that was the hardest part. Working great! Thanks again!

Cinema346 says:

I just ordered a power window motor/regulator for a 2002 Chrysler T&C. How does the replacement procedure for that model year vary from this video? It’s the same body style, so I imagine it can’t be that different.

1aauto says:

The issue could either be with the motor malfunctioning or it could be with a frayed wire. Opening up the door panel will be the best bet at this point.

jacondaroks says:

Maybe you can help me, I have a 2000 T&C and sometimes the windows go up and down. I replaced the switch but still have random use. Could it be the motor?

utrccvideos says:

Guys, you’re amazing! I’ve change the window lift motor of my T&C with zero issues, just following your video; consider that this is the first time I do this kind of repairs in my car. Thank you!

1aauto says:

It may be a similar process. You may want to test the wire to see if there’s power going to the motor when the switch is pressed.

Villain667 says:

Is this at all similar to a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus? I don’t hear anything when I try to put my front passenger window down, so I think it’s the motor.

cory church says:

perfect. thank you!

jpharrold says:

Great video. I did this myself on my 05 Grand Caravan and it was pretty easy. Symptoms were after putting the window down, I would try to put it back up and it would stop halfway. After a little bit of time you push up again and it goes a little more. Repeat the process till its closed again. New regulator assembly is needed. If you press the switch and nothing happens while closed, open your door and slam it REALLY hard a dozen times. This frees up the brushes in the motor. Worked for me.

Ray DeAnda says:

once you plugged in the window switch you forgot to mention to reconnect the battery… im just sayin.. the first thing in any trouble shooting guide is.. to be sure its plugged in..

Thanks for watching. Have a great day!

gradykkk says:

Terrific video!!!!!….saved me a few hundred bucks. Only difference between this video and my T&C 2006 limited is that:
1. I had an additional phillips head screw on the bottom of the door panel below the speaker
2. My part new OEM regulator part came with the same crappy plastic rivets that the original one had (would have preferred bolts!)
3. I used small wood chisel and rubber mallet to cut the heads off plastic rivets from part I was replacing, proved faster solution for me.

Mike at 1AAUTO.com
I have spent some time trying to figure out just how to leave a comment for you on your video; “How To Install Replace Power Window Regulator Chrysler Town and Country 04-07 1AAuto.com”.
Just a small critique first. I found your video related very close to my 2002 Chrysler T&C instead of just the 04-07 versions. The photo even looked like my 02 T&C.
Now for the video information itself: Superb! You saved me time and money and taught me something along the way.
Thanks,

1aauto says:

we do have something that would be similar. We have it available for the 2000 Caravan

Abu Naseem says:

Do you have any video for 2000 town & country power window regulator replacement?
Thanks

1aauto says:

The window motor isn’t serviceable on this particular window regulator. You would need to replace the regulator.

towikro1 says:

But is it possible just to use the motor from the set you sell and not have the entire regulator changed?

1aauto says:

The motor looks like it may be unserviceable on that particular application. We carry brand new window regulators with the motor on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393 We offer FREE SHIPPING in the lower 48 states.

jay estrada says:

I have a 07 town and country..My parts store wants to send me the motor and the regulator and all I need is the motor..Can I save the money an labor and just buy the motor..? any help would be great, thanks

cleo werntz says:

the problem is probably not a loose wire, but a bad spot on the motor armature..If it happens with the window all the way up or down, I would suspect this is the problem. If you were to pull the door panel and tap on the motor you would probly get the same result.

1aauto says:

You have have a broken or frayed wire between the door and body of the van. You may want to check the wire harness to see if this is the case. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

MrRavi89 says:

what is the problem when i slam my door and it works?

1aauto says:

We show you how to replace the entire window regulator on a 04-07 Chrysler Town & Country in this video.

eljefehiggy says:

In this video , did you say you replaced just the new motor, and not the regulator?
