Hi James, I’m not sure what may or may not be involved with this conversion. you may want to join a forum for your vehicle to see if any of the members have attempted this, and issues that they may have encountered.

1aauto says:

Hi Dianna, it may be a bad socket, or a bad light bulb. you may want to inspect both of them.

Dianna Maria says:

If the lamp fails, but will light after a tap or two on the housing, what would you attribute that to?

thank for furthwring peoples knowledgeof their own vehicles. too many times i hear people scared to touch their own vehicles. too easy and save your money from wolves! do i yourself!!

Patmanduu says:

Just wanted to say this is the second time your videos have saved me from the wolves. Clearly a ~$60 used part and self installation is the right choice for a older model car as in my case and what a great way to promote your website by showing folks how to DIY. Much thanks.

Terrific! I only needed to replace the lamp but this video helped. Thanks for posting it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am a stay at home mom who is broke. I barely know what a screw driver is, but I just changed my head light for $60 (cost of light) instead of $300 garage wanted to charge. Yeah!!!!!!

Thanks, I had the same damage to my 2001 Voyager and I have been dealing with a cracked lens and internal moisture problems for years if I knew it was this easy and cheap I would have done this years ago.

Some of the basics may be similar, but it more than likely wouldn’t be exactly the same.

Shareallicu3 says:

would this be the same on a 1996 dodge caravan?

Thanks Much!!!

thank you so much this helps me so much you have NO idea

It sounds as though it could be the headlight switch itself that needs to be replaced.

Thanks for posting your videos, cant get much clear =)… I have a 2006 Voyager, headlights are a mess, in funcionality that is… They have never been hit, but the thing goes like this: It started when they would sometimes fail to light, a couple flicks to the switch would solve the problem… But now when in low beam, the left headlight wont turn on, and when in high beam it’s the right one that fails… Ive checked the fusebox and seem OK, guess its time to replace the bulbs?

I got a Chrysler T&C 2003, and would like to update the front bumper to 2005 with the headlights and grilles, does anybody knows if it works? or there are some complication issues if i try to do that? it fix? ‘cuz the replacement it seems similar.
I will appreciate any help.
