GodWillShowUtheWay says:

URGENT. What specific tool do you use to get the back 2 screws out? I know
its an 8mm for the first couple but the back is such a tight space i have
no way to get to those damn screws…..-_-

Tammy Thompson says:

I have a 2006 Pacifica, I couldn’t find a blower motor replacement video
for MY car…but I’m assuming it would be similar to the PT Cruiser,
because they’re both Chrysler products, correct? Also, the issue I am
having is my fan isn’t blowing with the force that it should and there is a
very loud humming noise when the fan is on…heating OR cooling, I checked
both. This noise is worse when the circulate cabin air option is engaged.
Am I correct in beginning with the blower motor?

1A Auto Parts says:

You should be able to apply the basic steps shown in this video to your
application. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Pasch A says:

can you please make a video on ow to replace a 2004 pt cruiser thermostat?

Holly Ostrenga says:

i did get the red tab out but after that nothing…

1A Auto Parts says:

HI, It sounds like the AC drain pipe under your car has become clogged
which isn’t allowing the water to drain on the ground. There should be a
rubber hose hanging on the passenger side under the vehicle, if you blow a
little bit of compressed air into it, it should unclog the drain pipe and
water should come shooting out. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com

Lucas Coelho says:

Where is the ac expansion valve located on a 2002 Pt Cruiser? Does it have
one? How can i access it?

SHAUNMAN79 says:

Couple questions for you, my wife has a pt cruiser turbo the control
setting does not change where the air blows she said the floor and vent
settings do not work I checked the control feels loose and it doesnt change
the setting to the floor or the vents only the dash vents work?, we just
bought this 5 months ago, Also the rear window wiper does not work? If you
can point me in the right direction for these 2 issues I would appreciate
it! thanks very helpful videos as always!.

1A Auto Parts says:

@GriffindorDoggy If you watch the video closely you’ll see us push out a
little red tab on the connection to the blower motor. It sounds like you
might have a leaf or some debris inside of where the blower motor cage is.
Once you remove the blower motor, you should be able to see what’s causing
it.

1A Auto Parts says:

@chopson27 It could be the door actuator that positions the door for that
portion of the heating system.

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the fuses to see if there any that are blown. also if
there are any vacuum lines under the dash, on in the engine bay that are
cracked or broken, fix them as this could also cause an issue if the system
uses vaccum.

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not have a video that shows this. If your car came equipped
with one, it’s location may be shown in a Haynes or service manual.

Musecrafter says:

Thanks for posting this video. I had “something” get into the blower and
got ground up. Stunk pretty bad. Turned out to be a mouse. So, after doing
all this work I have one question for you. How the hell did you get a
camera down there AND get the blower out? I’m 5’8″ and 165 lbs and I had my
hands full working this and without the annoyance of a camera! Good job!

Jeannie-Dorling Combden says:

Thank you for your quick reply… We live in Costa Rica so I wanted to make
sure I had some answers before I took it to a mechanic here they are known
to fix things that aren’t broken here!!! LOL

1A Auto Parts says:

It’s not easy..glad to hear you found the issue…YUK!…lol

1A Auto Parts says:

That should be an easy one for you to fix (hopefully).

samantha leon says:

hello i like your video i have a 2006 pt cruiser my car blows air but the
ac and heater does not work what could it be wrong?

Curtis Hopson says:

Ok how can I get to that and fix it.

Jeannie-Dorling Combden says:

Hi..I own a 2008 PT C and today as I was driving I heard hissing and water
sloshing on the passenger side and then water started pouring about 1/2 a
cup onto the floor on Passenger side and then my Air Cond. stopped working.

1A Auto Parts says:

If you turn the heat on and it doesn’t work when you turn the speed
settings. It may be the blower motor resistor. You may want to test it to
see if it’s okay.

Holly Ostrenga says:

i have a 02 cruiser and my blower is making a noise as if the is a piece of
paper in there when it runs. is that a sign of it dying. or do i probably
have debris in there… i tried to remove it myself but i could not get the
clip off. You say in the video that there is a tab too push with your
thumb. i could not find it. please help… any advice

1A Auto Parts says:

@chopson27 We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this
process. If you have a service or a Chiltons manual they should show you
what needs to be removed so that you can access it.

justin mendoza says:

This is an awesome video really getting it through the whole process….
one of the best videos.. I got the same problem, but watching this video
made me figure how to get it out thanks a lot.

Curtis Hopson says:

i have a2007 and my floor heat is very weak but every part of my heat works
fine. every time i turn on the heat or air it makes a popping noise .

justin mendoza says:

do you have a video about radiator fan replacement or checking of the fan
for defects, or the fan relay

1A Auto Parts says:

We will keep this in mind in the event that we need to make this particular
repair on this type of vehicle.

1A Auto Parts says:

At the current time we do not. We’ll keep this request in mind, in the
event that we need to make this repair in the future.
