Dodge, Chrysler Maintenance Required Light – OBD1 Reset Procedure

If you own a Dodge or Chrysler product from the 90’s, it’s likely you’ve experience the Maintenance Required Light. If you haven’t then you probably will at some point. This is light is techinically called an EMR, or Emissions Maintenace Reminder light. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong with the vehicle, it’s just a reminder to take your vehicle in for service and pay some hard earned cash for them to “check” over your emissions. Today I’ll show you how I handle this scenario using some old test tools.
