i did replace the bearings.. what I should of done is replaced it with a
oversized bearing for the connecting rod bearing that was beat up…the
problem and why it didnt work out is the crank was too scored…better luck
next time, because I plan on doing this again…cant believe I made that
video in 2010..soo long ago

it and it has the original motor but its a 2.7 now i don’t thrash my cars i
take care of them and the motor runs like a dream everything works fine on
it just like it came out of the factory it even gets up and hauls ass im
actually looking for another car so i can have one besides the intrepid do
you know any good cars that would last if its taken care of?
hey i can get the same car with a knock for 500$ would it be worth the rod
bearing replacement work for a few mouths?? its a beautiful car. other then
the knock. is this car a auto stick too??
What did you end up doing with the car? I also have an 01 Sebring xli with
85k miles only and want to be prepared just in case it was something
mechanical the reason you don’t have it anymore.
hey, no it was not autostick.. I was thinking of putting that in…$500 is
what you would get if you junked the car at a scrap yard. if you know alot
about cars and if you are handy why dont you just get a rebuilt 2.7L.. Mine
was beautiful too but my brother destroyed it. In my opinion, No. Dont get
it, and dont do the repair I did. Yes, it worked, But I got about 500 to
600 miles from the car till I had to do it again.. in total I got over 1000
miles out of my sebring. get a new engine& be done

attention span. I havent seen this video in 6 months and not once did I say
im not getting a cap for it. for the record I DID that very day. explain to
me how driving 5 miles without a cap ” fucks” the car up. bet u cant, but
search good so you can argue with me. your opinion on Dodge cars is just
that, a opinion…and AGAIN Pay attention to what you watch on youtube. My
Sebring was a 2.7L NOT a 4 Banger…
Hey nice car i know its an old video but if you change your oil to a
thinner oil it might fix it even more or it might be the other way around i
know i had a 2000 dodge stratus and it had a 2.4ltr 4 cylinder and that car
did me great for the miles i drove it i got it at 60,000 miles and drove it
up to 176,000 and no issues with it other than had to replace the timing
belt and have the heads cleaned and re surfaced anyways im watching the
rest of your vids on the car lol
yr an idiot get a gas cap yr only fucking it up more without one are u that
cheap u can get a universal gas cap for it ….as a matter a fact yr all a
bunch off idiots …american cars suck ass dodge only makes good trucks and
or srt versions of cars…and yr 4 banger has nothing to do with this
