Ali Hallal says:

hey nice video….i want the C but i found many good deals on the V6
300…can i swap the front bumper and headlights on the C to a normal 300?

300howto says:

Yes you can. Prior to this car I had a 2007 Touring. You can put a SRT8 or
300C bumper on it. You can always buy aftermarket headlights for your
touring with halos built into it. The C or SRT8 is the nicest bumper for
the car.

babiebratz says:

question I have a 2007 Chrysler 300 touring and I have to replace the front
bumper. If I get srt8 front bumper can I get halo lights. I want some of
them but it seem like they don’t sell them for a touring. Idk much about
cars and i just want to make sure i can do that before i order. great vid

David Lotsof says:

hi i have a 2007 300C i want to do a front bumper replace and i was
wondering what the rivets on the inside fender wall are called and where i
can find them

300howto says:

@EDGAR15ish yes. it will. BUT you will need new headlights. you can use
your old fog lights with some free (no cost) modification (have to sort of
break them, i can explain more if you really do this). You will also need
to lift the car in the front enough to get under there with a drill so you
can screw the bottom of the bumper into the belly pan as the old holes dont
lie up so you need to make new ones…. total cost: srt8 bumper (200, 400
painted). 300C headlights (120 aftermarket, 250 oem)

Ali Hallal says:

@acidwarp514 can you change the front of 300 int oa 300c? like same
headlights and stuff?

nenas13man says:

i have 10k on my 300

300howto says:

@300howto also, if you are looking for fog lights, buy C fogs not SRT8
fogs. they are the same exact thing but a lot of ebay sellers charge more
when they toss the “srt8” in the title. exact same size and nothing is
different between the two other than some suckers will pay more because
they think its better.

DYNO323 says:

nice car dude why didnt u go mopar on the intake??

Edgar Villa says:

would a srt8 bumper fit in a touring its because i dont really like the
square head light and the str8 bumper makes that little loop that makes it
look mean

wygbuu says:

Not sure if you still need the info. But they are 1/4in Nylon rivets, Part
No. 961-050

300howto says:

@iacobusarchaium696 look on ebay. type in “srt bumper” and you will see a
bunch for all the dodge/chrysler srt8 cars. this one i purchased from the
ebay seller “gotztohavdemnikes” and since i am only about 2 hours away, i
went to pick it up from him. i would suggest buying from him as I can vouch
for him.

300howto says:

@ESEPELIGRO you can. you will have to drill holes into the under side since
it won’t line up. I had to do the same with mine. very easy. no damage.

acidwarp514 says:

very cool video…. i wanted to change the rear bumper to a 300 c style i
have a base 300 would that be easy? (some one rear ended me and it needs
changing anyways)

300howto says:

thank you. The mopar intake shaft is metal. The metal in the hot engine bay
gets so hot that it actually ends up making the cold air intake into a hot
air intake. The plastic AFE shaft gets hot but no where near as hot as the
mopar shaft.

Roberto Rivera says:

Hey Buddy, Thanks to your bumper removal video i was able to remove and
install a new grill to my ’97 300c Hemi without any problems. I looked at
the airbox silencer and I was not to sure If should remove it since im
running the stock airbox/filter. After inspecting the silencer I dont see
what It does for the car???? One of the 4 push pins in step 2 under the
hood was a itch to get out, so I drilled out plastic pin. Ill go to
AUTOZONE for a replacement. But looks sweeetttttttt. Thanks bud.

th3ha1og0d says:

Would it be a good idea to remove the air silencer if I’m keeping the stock
airbox? Do you think there would be any chance of water getting up to the
airbox with the silencer removed (I would think the bellypan protects it
from splashes etc just want to be sure)

300howto says:

@th3ha1og0d stock air box or not i think its a good idea. i have yet to see
any problems with water going up there. my HID ballasts are in the airbox
area and they have not gotten wet. i mean you will get moisture and what
not but i dont think you are going to get actual water like if you were to
take a hose to it. you could also take some screen material and cover the
hole with it. this will allow air flow but should catch some moisture.

300howto says:

Considered the Mopar one. But I also find my intake at a third of the Mopar
price. I was never planning on doing a CAI but at that price, I couldnt say
no. Thank you, I’ll post some more. I’ve done more to the car, I’ll have to
film some more things.

vinnie gs says:

hi do u install h.i.d.s on a chrysler 300

RON561 says:

lol great racial comment rush limbaugh but dont get upset with me just
because you more boring than ben stein(clear eyes guy) i alomost dozed off

Edgar Villa says:

ohh but it has alot alot alot of miles on it it has 130,000

RON561 says:

man you are boring

300howto says:

@th3ha1og0d its a nice upgrade to do that. check your local craigslist. My
first touring i did this same thing. found the bumper for 65 locally.
already painted to match.

300howto says:

@300howto …. or if you dont like the fact that the magnum is a wagon, go
with a police edition charger. It will not have the leather seats but you
can get a v8 with low miles in good condition for cheap. If I had to do it
all again…. I’ve dropped about $39k on my car (including the price of the
car), I would buy a v8 magnum, put the srt8 300 bumper on it, use the trunk
space for a nice stereo, and install an ipad in the dash board instead of a
nav unit. that would probably run me $18k total.

300howto says:

@ESEPELIGRO that is a good question. I believe things are slightly
different in the headlights. The C has a high beam, low beam, and blinker.
I think the touring has an additional bulb for the blinkers. You should be
able to just remove the extra bulb and use just the single blinker. Just
make sure you are using the one that actually blinks. The fogs are just
plug and play. The touring fogs housings are just a little smaller that is
all. With some creativity they can be used in the C.

300howto says:

@ESEPELIGRO you can use your touring fog lights but they are smaller. I’d
get the larger 300C/SRT8 fogs, they will fit better and look better. But
yes, the bumper, the headlights, and the fog lights. You might also need to
fill the headlight washer hole that is in the bumper. you can buy the
nozzles but I think they were like 125 dollars each. I’d just fill them.
much much cheaper.

Kevin Kohn says:

I know this is an old video, but when you remover the air silencer do you
just remove the whole big black piece and leave it at that, or do you have
to mod that piece and put it back in ? Do you have to plug any holes or is
it ok to just remove it and let it be ?

300howto says:

I ended up putting a relay harness on. Very easy. I was getting some
flickering. It was a 30 dollar radio shack fix. They work perfectly now

nenas13man says:

i installed 10000k hid’s on my 300

300howto says:

@vinnie913 I purchased my HIDs from 3bspec.com but I have been told that
HIDgate on ebay is cheaper. It is very easy and plug and play. You use
double sided 3m tape and stick the balast somewhere and thats all. They
should run you between 25 and 100 dollars depending on who you go with but
I have been told they are all the same chinese bulbs. So I’d get two of the
25 dollar ones and if one goes (the balasts go out often) you have an extra
set and still paid half of what I paid.

Junior831Holliz says:

Where did you get your srt bumper?

th3ha1og0d says:

Thx for the tutorial by the way one day I’m probably gonna switch my
touring bumper out for a “C” bumper

DYNO323 says:

yeah good poin but how about a mopar cold air intake instead of a short
ram..lol

James McNair says:

where did you get that bumper?

300howto says:

they do not. they could be made to work with some piping but in my
experience with cars that have headlight sprayers, they cause more of a
mess than good. not worth making it work in my opinion.

whitestang99 says:

hey are those eyelids from vip300?

DipsetDiplomat says:

hey cool video , how did u get the caamera on your car

300howto says:

You can remove and trash it or remove and replace. Your call. I removed and
trashed. No need to plug holes. In fact, you need that for air flow. The
hole that is.

300howto says:

@EDGAR15ish … suggestion for you…. the charger/300/magnum all have
exact same interior, the only difference is the body and the door panels
inside. why do you want a 300 over a charger/magnum? look on ebay at the
magnums. they stopped making them in 2008. you can find one with under 20k
miles for around 12k. find a junk yard that has a wrecked 300 and take the
front side panels off the car and you can then put a 300 srt8 bumper on
your magnum. you will have a 300 str8 with trunk space!!!!

300howto says:

@TheRyanStark I assume you mean the base model? Yes you can add it but you
will either need to wire them directly to your headlights or buy the MOPAR
fog light harness and you will have a button for them on your dash. if you
direct wire them, you can’t control them. they go on with the head lights.
it is the cheapest way to go but you don’t get to control it. if you plan
on doing HID fogs, you will want to do the MOPAR harness so your power
output is better.

DYNO323 says:

well never mind me bud im just saying if it was my car i would of bought
the mopar but its ok i respect ur decision and u have a gorgeous car there
please keep the vids comming =) congrats

300howto says:

@EDGAR15ish… Well the C should have the hemi and leather stock. the nav
is like 500 bucks but the 05-07 nav sucked and I prefer the 08+ nav (i’ve
had both). The 22s, cool and all but most 22s on a 300 look horrible. 130k
miles kills the deal for me. the car has a lot of electrical components and
if something goes out, it will cost you a fortune trying to figure out what
is wrong with it. warranty required for me. also, is this a daily driver or
a show car for you. daily driver = BAD BUY!!!

300howto says:

@whitestang99 indeed. I bought them when I bought the grip grille. both
came painted. I ended up test fitting them by closing the hood on them to
see how they looked. when I popped the hood they slide out and slammed on
the ground and the paint was ruined so I had to have them repainted with my
spoiler and bumper. in the long run, shouldnt have bought the paint option
from vip300 but it wasnt their fault. I like their puddle lights….. it
will be the next mod I do.

Edgar Villa says:

yeah its gona be a secondary daily driver i thought it would be a bad idea
thats why i kept telling that female to give it to me for less like 7
thousand i would buy that i mean i would give the 9500 but its a bad
invesment cause like you said if something goes wrong with the electical
things umma waste more but im trying to find a 300 with not so many miles
still searching i started bidding on ebay on some cars but the bids would
go so high for acars that werent even worth the price

300howto says:

The intake I installed is the same as the mopar CAI. the only difference is
that the shaft is made out of plastic. Both are CAI.

Edgar Villa says:

is it a good deal for an 05 300 c the hemi leather seats 22 inch custom
rims and it has the nav it sells for 9 gs

300howto says:

@RON561 I know really. damn these informative videos. Where are the big
booty hoes, the malt liquor, the candy paint, the suicide doors?

300howto says:

no idea on what they are called but auto zone has universal rivets that
work perfectly as replacements
