I have the same problem with a 2006 pacifica 3.5L base model.
Any one can help us?
2003 dodge caravan? I tried this but there isn’t a locking mechanism underneath. All the black plastic housing is there and a bulging rectangle where the lock should be. It doesn’t open. Should I inbolt the entire housing?
Just did this on a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, thanks! Had the car to dealership and was told the AC was working fine, they could not find anything wrong. After watching this video I checked the filter myself. Our old filter was so plugged up I don’t know how any air got through it. Replaced the filter with a new one and AC works great now, thanks again!

This video was a tremendous help! My car has the fire retardant screen below the dash where the cabin air filter is. If you have this just bend it all the way towards you. It should not break. If it does, the only thing that will break is the plastic pins which you can pick up at any hardware store.
