What’s going on dude ? Well…it sounds like one of your front wheel
bearings are going bad. You said it does the wooowooo sound traveling over
70mph, witch indicates the failed wheel bearing going bad. Eventually
you’ll hear the woowoo sound every time you drive. I strongly recommend you
change them, before they rust out.

Hey, how did you know it was the bearing on the right front? Also can you
tell me if he needed a special tool to take the hub off? Lastly how did he
keep the wheel from turning when he tightened the hub nut up? Mine is
making the roaring noise and I want to replace it myself if the mechanic is
willing ill send him $20.00 to give me an explanation over the phone. Thank
you my Brother for sharing. Plz let me no.

What’s up bro! I knew it was the front hub bearing because every time I
made a right or left turn ill hear this grinding noise, as if metal was
rubbing. Tools needed (tools I used) wrench (18mm) or you can use a 18mm
deep well socket to remove caliper bracket bolts, a axle socket is (36mm),
finally a torque wrench need to have a range 50 to 200 foot pound. The
wheel shouldn’t turn if you use the torque wrench but if it does get a
partner to hold it steady. Reply if my information don’t work!

like the wheels

Thanks for reply back. I just put mine on yesterday . I just applied the
front brakes with a board between the pedal and steering wheel. I changed
my left hub first and the noise was still there then I change the right
side hub. It was rusted out. The technique of turning to the right or left
and when you hear the noise it’s the opposite side don’t work. The
dealership tech told me after I gave him fifty dollars. Thanks Bro.. This
job was a piece if cake. Diagnostic s is where most DIY fail.

Hey buddy, I have a 2007 Chrysler 300 base model,I found that since last
week, when I drove in the highway ,going faster than 70mile/h. I hear the
Wooo…sound from the front end of my 300. It is not Wooo for all the time,
but periodically. Like Woo, then quiet for 1 second the wooo again. Do you
think it is the front wheel bearing? I don’t hear that sound when I drive
under 60mile/h. Thanks!!!
