Hey Robert!! Yeah, I liked the days of glass seal beams myself. When they
burned out or got a rock chip, it was only a few dollars and you were back
like new again!! I was glad to find a good source for these composite
lights on eBay. If you get these from the dealer, they are usually $100 a
piece!! Man, that’s cool, you can’t beat a GMC truck!! Oh yeah, I love the
old late 1970’s Chevy/GMC trucks too. Wish I had my Dad’s old ’78! He drove
that truck until 1995. It’s probably still on the road!

Hey Justin!! All you can do is replace them when they get like that. I have
tried various things too and nothing worked. I replaced the headlights on
my truck a year ago. It sure made a lot of difference in how well I could
see at night too!! Thank you Justin!! I appreciate the compliments my
friend!! We always replace the high side service fitting when we service
the GM A/C systems at the shop and the low side valve core sometimes as
well. They are bad about leaking. Thanks for the comment!!
