This is a video that I recorded to show everyone how to replace a rear transmission seal. The vehicle is a 1997 Chevy C1500. I don’t know much about vehicles…

ha!
That was the funniest shit I have seen in a long while! You did everything
the hard way. There are so many things I could tell you that could help you
if you would still like to know but I’m glad you got it done.
i admire your willingness to put this online despite your admission of
being “not mechanically inclined” Im sure that if I had to do this myself
id encounter some roadblocks as well, funny shit… cheers!
Needed to mark the drive shaft and the yoke for alignment purposes. so that
you don’t get viberations in the driveline.
Awesome
Awesome l enjoyed your video. I am glad you got it done.
Hey that was great!! I just found I have the same problem on the same
truck!! So I watched your video and not only learned how to do it but
laughed my ass off the whole time!! Keep it up!
Your a bad ass you got what it takes to get the job done
Was hoping you’d screw the can to the block of wood were you didnt have to
hold both of em, but yea at least you didnt give up and try and hammer the
seal in itself, if you distort it in any way , and you might of thought u
didnt if you did it , it would fail, funny video though, none the less
