I went to change my dash lights until I got to the controls panel. Then I
put it all back together and bought a small flashlight. heh heh

can you replace this instrument cluster with the digital one in the olds
bravada?

NBH45304 says:

Alex, LOL I could have had this done in one evening, but thought it might
make a good YT video. It took me two days to do this video. The worst part
in my opinion was disconnecting the climate controls. Very tight space and
little room to work. Nathan

Alex Webb says:

Thank you or making this video. I had no idea this would be such a
process. How long would you guess this project would take if you were going
to do from start to finish? Thanks for the help.

thelonewulf1000 says:

you can take those apart they are just soldered in but they sell the
sockets on ebay so that you can put in any type of bulbs (incandescent or
LED)

CubNole says:

You can gently tug on the HVAC column to give you more room to work with,
the only downside is you’ll hear your blend door cable (for hot or cold)
stretch farther behind the dash, which will sort of kink it and make it
difficult to push it up to hot or down to cold with a kink in the cable so
THEN you take everything out of your glovebox, take that plate off back
there in the back, and feed the cable back to the right (you can’t miss it)
and it will unkink and be perfect once again. 🙂

NBH45304 says:

CubNole, I tried to tug on the cables to gain more length, but it was a no
go. I would hate to even think about that cable breaking down in the dash
EKKKK ! Nathan

NBH45304 says:

Hello, If I remember right I seen a video of an analog to digital dash
conversion here on YT. I remember the wiring harness needed changed from
this current one to the one for the digital cluster. Nathan

NBH45304 says:

Hello, Interesting to know that, thanks for the info. Nathan
