I bled the air out by loosening the top radiator hose and removing the
radiator cap repeatedly til the radiator and the heatercore was free of
air…its a pain in the butt to do since those year models don’t have a
bleeder valve…
Bottom hose on a 2009 as well. gasket part of the thermostat so no
permartex needed. need two gallons of 50/50 dex cool when done hose clam
pain in the ass, a regular hose clam would be ]easier, but I made do with
channel locks. 10mm socket and deep socket worked great. did it all sitting
on a 5 gallon bucket from the top. no jack stands needed a flashlight to
see but was pretty easy
I looked down further in the comments. This is not spam, the guy helped me
and my shit is fixed and on the road. Wife is HAPPY!!!!! fucking democrats

bleeding. I did not bleed crap i popped the plastic radiator threaded cap
and kept filling until no bubble’s and full. i slightly overfilled white
plastic slop tank. ran for 45 minutes until fans kicked on and heat was
blowing in car. drove up and down road for leak check drank two beers with
neighbor 1/2 mile down the road while running and came home. No leaks and
slop tank still slightly overfilled and hotter than all in the car.
