Sharkman7226 says:

Dude, I just lost my mind last night working on miy ’99 S-10 and this is
awesome how you put in the sheild information; I bought a worthless Chilton
manua that didn’t include that and you have helped me a ton. Thanks from
New Mexico

stephen e says:

Ur supposed to disconnect the ground from the battery

Musa Alam says:

You need to make another Vid much more light.

wildernesspath1 says:

It would have been more helpful if you taped while you actually removed it.
I’m having trouble getting the bigger wire’s nut loose due to lack of
space, hopefully taking that plate off will help. Thanks for the vid.

dallas slater says:

I did my 98 s10 starter and the hard part is the tight space its in.

RottenPotatoe1 says:

@ElBucanas408 Thats what my s10was doin. It made a loud grinding noise
whenever i tried to start it. Just take ur trurck to at place u bought ur
baterry at, i assume autozone or Oriely, and have them test ur starter.
They will tell u for sure if ur starte is bad or not. Then look at this
video again to help with replacing it. If u hav ?’s, just reply to me again
and ill do my best to help out.

Daniel C says:

you dont even show how to take it off idiot

Justin Briggs says:

when i try to turn it on, it like struggles to turn on while making a
“grinding” noise…any idea?

chadyanellie says:

Spencer Jones says:

i got fuckin vertigo watchin your shitty vieo

moonshinegrrl says:

Thanks for the video

Chris Topher Harper says:

I think what most people are referring to is that first bolt is a pain in
the butt, and THAT is why we are here. But I am sure the shroud removal is
helpful as well, so thanks. I am using 3 extensions on a socket wrench, and
they are at an angle, so it is slipping, and 2 extensions aren’t enough,
and that is why I am searching this. Not enough room for a box wrench.

Joe Shirley says:

Thanks for this – replacing the starter on my S-10 tomorrow.

Steve Buerer says:

Thanks for you video. It gives me a better idea what to look for.

David Diersing says:

dcopeskey says:

the top where the wires at bolted on?

1R083rt says:

Good info man! just had a problem with my truck not starting , in my case
my car wasn’t grinding or clicking at all, the only way i got home was (
and i hope this helps some of yall if need to get somewhere) was to push
start the truck, (will only work if your car is manual).

ElBucanas408 says:

Savory Sauce says:
