The 6000SUX is by far the best
2003 2500 HD. 6.0 v8 was one of gm's better engines and these older models will run a very long time. Over 250,000 on mine now. It is my work and plow truck. My primary truck is a Tundra.
I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado pickup with 45,000 miles and I love it!
I'll stick with an S10 or a Sonoma
I bought a 2002 2500HD 4 wheel drive Silverado with 25,000 miles on it back in 2004. LT, Crew Cab, 6.0 V8 Gas. It was still under warranty. I paid $19,000. White with leather seats. 141,000 miles on it. Never wanna sell it. It has been a great truck!
A huge Silverado clobbered me in my little Toyota Corolla. It suffered No damage at all. Meanwhile my car did to the point I had to sell it off for a mere pittance. Myself I suffered a Traumatic brain injury & concussion for which drs can do Nothing due to Everything they tried would Negatively affect my heart's AFIB condition. I'm always in pain and can't take Anything for pain either cause again anything they gave me for pain Negatively affected my heart's rhythm. When the pain goes thru the roof I tried Screaming & even prayer to No avail. Living is a nightmarish, living Hell!! It's No fun living. I'll be so glad when it's finally over & I can join my murdered daughter killed 41 years ago now.
2016 Silverado has been good to me so far. Love it!

Have a1995 Silverado 5.7 k1500 with 180,000 on it. Runs great, solid, and dependable. The only downer is the paint job. Looks old but no rust . Made in Canada, sold in Texas, and I got it in California. Rip off state charges me $ 300 a year for registration. But I love it.
My 96 six was a good solid truck but awful for towing up mountains, my 04 5.3 z71 4×4 blew the engine and later the transmission. Knock on wood my 11 has 140,000 over 11 years and other than changing tires, a battery and brakes it is going strong without any problems.
The last good Silverado was in the 1990s with the 305 and 350 V8.
I will never get rid of my 92 C/1500 V8. Needed trans rebuild around 250k. Rebuilt with shift kit in 2nd. Needed an engine rebuild at 340k. Today it has 373k on chassis. Still runs like a scolded ape. No crazy electronics to deal with and easy as hell to work on. I can pretty much stand in the engine bay.
I bought a 21 Silverado 1500 with the 6.2,loving it so far,but bought the 100k mile extended warranty on it. Hope it’ll be a good truck though!
I had a 98 Silverado I trade it in on an 07 Dodge Ram. Scotty can you reach all the way from Tennessee back to Texas and slap me LOL
