Thanks for flying through the most important part, FT
see i can turn my key but it won’t turn all the way over to crank
How much does this normally cost?
When I did this for myself I bought the OEM part and the manual said to use every bit of the lubricant in the packet. Yours did not look like mine when I was done.
What is the name of the piece that you put the key into and turn to start the engine?
Good thing that you tested the pin-to-key match before installing. It would have been SO much fun getting the New lock out of the housing… (SARCASM)
But does it still crank with the key pulling out
Just happened to me while I was at work…had to bang on it hard so many times for half an hour to get the pins in the right place so i can turn the key just to start it to get home.
Yes sir !! The big ole heavy key chains are terrible for ignition switches ! I’m a locksmith and I see this over and over again.
Matt need your advise on transmission flush for 09 Chevy Silveraldo would you do this to your vehicle
the whole reason you did this because it pulls out in run?
