Great video. Darn bell housing cover! Should have looked for this video
first! Before I get back under there, is it just the one bolt that is
visible to remove the cover? I just charged my battery and it still won’t
turn over. I just want to pull the started out to test the voltage and see
if the starter is getting voltage. Thanks!
Have a 2000 tahoe 4.8L 4WD. Do you have to remove a skid plate to get at
the starter?
any idea if the 07 is similar?
I have a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche and I watched your video on replacing the
starter but you didn’t show how to get the starter down after unbolting it
that’s where im stuck but good video in all.
Hi Jacob. being a retired mechanic, i find it much easier to check you
tube for hints before doing the job. now i know what wrenches i will need
and also removing the bell housing cover is a good heads up. thanks for
doing the post, i really appreciate it.
I needed a large wratchet! 1/2 inch drive to break those 13 mm bolts.Good
