It doesn't seem to answer any questions in the comment section ! I'm taking a leap with this one.
Can a 2010 Silverado trailer plug-in plate changed ? Mine just collapsed last week. The lock-in hole is totally gone (left of the rear license plate) therefore, the trailer connector is just hanging loose. I don't need to change the whole bumper because it is in an excellent shape.

so total of 6 bolts need to come out?

Needed to replace the damaged bumper step pad on my 2016 Silverado. Your vid pretty much spot on with a few exceptions. My truck has the trailer hitch which adds a bit of complexity. Yes, I raised the bed as you described and popped the wiring harness and trailer conn. But I found 5 bolts holding the bumper on. Had to watch your vide 4 times to figure it out. The last bolts are 13mm and sit behind the bumper and tucked up behind the trailer conn and rear tire port. They attach the bumper to the hitch. Also I used a floor jack and 2×2 to raise the bed rear to put a 2×4 block to support the bed. Worked well.

A lot of rust on that truck's frame for not being that old.

How do you get the spare tire trap door off the old bumper??

*6 BOLTS FOR 2015 CREWCABS*

Massé David says:

Instead of the ratchet to lose the bolt, I used a 3/8 drive Snap-on battery impact without any placement issues. You can use it for every single bolt.
