Will this procedure work on a new body style 2007?

While I appreciate the view with the intake removed, so we have a clear view of what we're going after, would've appreciated more if you had shown tricks or advise on how to get to the switch and what to look out for. I ended up loosening a hose that didn't have a hose clamp (bought it used) that caused my truck to sputter when shifting into 2nd and was running rougher than usual. Ended up figuring it out pretty soon and fixed it. Good as new.

James Huban says:

Is the 4.3 switch located in the same place? I can't see it. Is it located vertically or horizontally?
