No reason to remove the grill or the whole mounting bracket. Just pull the two pins up top and be done with it.

this is hard way to remove headlamps. turn signals yes. there are 4, 5mm long studs at the top of the lamp remove the two studs on each side and the light comes out. at least on my 1993 k1500 that is how I did it. otherwise good info.

I noticed you didn't use a load bar to reduce volts for LED. My lights assembly came with the load bar. I don't understand how to connect them. Can you help?
