@neilyeah lmao

Eddie Ortega says:

This was a brilliant idea, thank you. i modified it just a little and used
a cable instead but the idea was genius. thank you

Thesby Tolbert says:

water pumps are not that expensive but the labor cost more than the part
itself!

Darrell Honrine says:

You saved me some serious frustration. thanks

blackericdenice says:

Did you go to Apex auto tech school?

Nick Flatgard says:

Great idea! I was stuck for hours trying to get fan off of water pump! With
your tip had it off in seconds! Hats off to ya buddy!

Antujuan Johnson says:

Okay I really need to learn how to do this because I need to replace my
water pump on a 2003 Trailblazer but I can hardly understand you. So, where
are you and how much you’ll charge me to do mine for me? Second thing, I
was told that when you change the water pump, the timing chain had to be
readjusted, is that a fact?

Thesby Tolbert says:

dispite my water pump going bad!my engine did not overheat!

TehBossKitt3h says:

We worked four hours trying to get that done. Went to to parts store and
tried to use their special wrenches. Didn’t work. Came in and got on line
and found this video. The chain worked like a charm!!!! Thank you so much.
We got thechain on and the bolt off in 15 minutes. Took the stupid tools
back to the parts store. They didn’t work. Thanks again!

Brad Arnold says:

Great idea, I had to change the water pump on my 2004 about 3 years ago and
I’m about to do it again this weekend. I definitely remember the fan clutch
being the most difficult part.

Timothy Cook says:

Huh well this is inventive. But I would recommend that if you have a air
compressor and a air hammer they sell a long blunt tip about 18 inches if
you leave the belt on line it up on the corner of the nut it rattles it off
in about 15 seconds. works on almost all fan clutches

itsmarkwtf says:

You dont need a chain.. just an additional breaker bar to place inbetween
the bolts so you can get that entire fan out…

MEGABOINK65 says:

sorry , i can’t hardly hear you!

wailnshred says:

This video was helpful to me, thanks.

ajburks says:

I am trying this TOMORROW ! Stupid fan clutch tools don’t work whatsoever

OIFV0608 says:

Just changed my water pump on my 03 trailblazer. I was lucky, my part store
let me use the fan clutch kit (just had to put a deposit) but when I return
it I get the full deposit back. I was able to do it with no issues without
taking off the fan shroud. You just have to separate the fan from the fan
clutch but there is plenty of room without having to do those extra steps.

lamsamicm says:

This is a great idea!! I used your method to remove the fan on my Suburban
and it worked perfectly. Thanks for posting this!!!

Thesby Tolbert says:

i just had one put in my 07 trailblazer!the mechanic charged me $265 and it
works very well!

neilyeah says:

what is this. why did you put that chain in your car

beetlesuzuki72 says:

blackericdenice says:
