can you replace this part without the rubber hose or is that a must have?
thanks.

thanks a lot !!!!!!!!

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check to see if the AC system needs to be charged. If it’s
fine, usually when the blower motor resistor goes, you’ll start to loose
some of the speed settings. We carry them on our website for all kinds of
vehicles. 1aauto.com 888-844-3339

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to fix the wires and plug that had melted. Usually a bad
blower motor resistor will cause this to happen. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

JAntrim says:

what is the yellow plug under the panel?

1A Auto Parts says:

There could be an issue with the blend door.

1A Auto Parts says:

They may have meant to change the cabin filter if your vehicle came
equipped with one. They dealer can run your VIN # for you and tell you if
it did, as well as it’s location. Hope this helps you out. Have a great
day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

It could be the blower motor resistor of the blower motor. If you started
loosing your speed settings and then finally lost the air coming through
the vents altogether, then it could be a bad blower motor resistor. We
carry them on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

It could be that, or you may even want to check for a loose wire that might
me causing it to turn off and on.

Paul Kairouh says:

Hello I have a trail blazer 2006 causing A/C smell after 10 minutes,someone
told me to replace the A/C filter,do you know where is located? could it be
a clogged drain pipe? also location of it please , appreciate it thanks Paul

Zain Bryant says:

My Ac or heater doesnt blow at all. Is it the blower motor that needs
replaced?

pricanmom1 says:

Hi, I have an Envoy XL. My air works perfectly in the front but not in my
back seats. It blows air when it wants to and when it does I can’t control
the temp of the air or the speed. I’m assuming its either the speed
controller or the fan blower resistor which I’m assuming is in the middle
console. But I have no idea how to access it.

1A Auto Parts says:

@litho1960 We currently do not have an auto repair video for that
particular repair. If you happen to have a Haynes or a Chiltons auto repair
manual it should be covered in those manuals. Hope this helps you out.

Michael Engle says:

this is great! I do have a few questions: 1. on that kick panel, do you
know what that yellow connector is? My truck has one side of that connector
but it’s not connected to anything else. 2. My fan motor sounds ok and
blows ok but the connector to the blower resistor has slightly melted. Is
it at all possible that the fan is fault and has caused this? Thanks much!

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the fuses first to see you have a blown fuse. Then
check to see if there’s power to the blower motor (if the fuse is good),
with a test light or an ohm meter. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com
