Step drills work real nice in sheet metal. Your crimper is the real deal.
Nice video, I would assume you should ground the inverter to the chasis
seperately. Only question I have is does the inverter get hot enough to
melt the plastic it’s mounted to? I would be running an XBOX 360 off of it.
excellent presentation. Best one I’ve seen so far.
Youtube video stabilization is garbage. It makes videos look so weird.
My inverter isn’t loud at all. When it draws a lot of power, the internal
fans come on, but they are as quiet as laptop fans.
Thanks. The heat I get out of my car vents in the winter is hotter than the
inverter’s vents, so I’m sure there won’t be any problems. This inverter
didn’t have a chassis ground. But all you have to do is use an existing
bolt to connect your ground wire to the car’s metal, or use a self-tapping
screw. Sand away any paint to expose the metal surface first. Lastly, make
sure the inverter you buy can power electronics loads. Hopefully, you won’t
need a Sine Wave inverter.
