It just takes a little patience and $100 of fabric and glue.
I used 3M Headliner glue. Two cans were not enough, but I put it on heavy. You don’t want to run out in the middle of the project.
The going replacement cost is $400
Many thanks for the subs, likes and comments.
Thanks for looking.
I am wondering if carpet will look good as a headliner cover?
I know that it will be a good sound defuser and will also have a bit of R factor
Interesting. I did a few of these back in the 70s and 80s when I had an auto trim business. The toughest part was getting the headliner frame out of the vehicle and back in it. These were your typical Ford and GM passenger cars. I would have liked to see how you handled that part of it. I presume it was a little easier in your truck with the larger door space.
