Excellent video bro. With your new radio did it keep all the gas mileage
and other info? Also does the stock radio have a built in 5-6 disc changer?
I just bought my Maxx LT, just wondering. Thanks for your help. Might be
putting in my Pioneer FH-X700BT unit.

highwaydevil says:

Thanks-much more handy than trying to find it in my Haynes Manual!

Sherman Culler says:

Thanks for this video… installed a new double din in my Malibu Maxx
today.. went great except I broke my hazard light and forgot to hook up my
microphone. :)

David Gooden says:

dang all that trouble just to get to a radio?

GreatRegularFlavor says:

Thank you a whole lot for this vid. There’s some goddamn rattling sound
coming from behind the vents in the middle console and I’ve been wanting to
take it apart to get rid of that annoying noise. Couldn’t find a vid
anywhere where it showed how to get the middle console removed until I
found this one.

Angelo Paulo Brinas says:

Sherman, does your new pioneer radio shows the car infos like it used to
using the orig stereo (gas, error messages, and others)

Ricardo Ortiz says:

i have the same radio harness you have where did u connect your red power
wire too mine came separate from the harness plz can u tell me thanks

Sherman Culler says:

I’m about to install a Pioneer double din into my 2005 Malibu Maxx… will
I need a kit and/or wiring harness as well to install it, or will I just be
able to take out the stock radio and put in the Pioneer?

Billy Werner says:

What kind of radio is that and how much did it cost?

gummimaleck says:

the one i removed? that was a (power acoustik)(double din)(fully loaded
screen) that was about 200+ cant remember and the one i installed was the
stock one that came with the car

Fez Shitz says:
