I have been having this issue for a couple of weeks now and just started researching and came across this!!  I am going to buy the part right away!! I hope it works! Thanks so much! Our closest Chevy dealership wanted me to bring the car in and of course charge a $69 diagnostic fee and then whatever the cost would have been to fix it! I will repost what happens when I put the new part in!

Thank you. Not only money but lives. My car actually shut off at 75mph I had no power no steering no brakes. Luckily I was driving and not my wife and child. GM needs to make this a safety concern.
