Trans filter change on a 98 Chevy S10. Another thing that should have been done a long time ago.

We have a pressure washer but I don’t want the trans fluid all over in
front of our shop 🙂

mossman381 says:

Glad I could help.

mossman381 says:

Thankfully I didn’t have to do that just jack the whole thing up some.

Excellent video,very helpful.

goo0280 says:

Hey when you did your ballpoint was it hard to change your front struts or
shocks” my front end raddled and I think it may be the struts are gone bad.
Any help?

I want to get one of those siphoning machines that you stick down the
dipstick. It’d make that job so much easier.

MrGiovannix12 says:

Glad the converter fixed it… We plan on building an 24 x 24 x 10 Pole
barn soon. We are going to put a lift in it too… Im sure the trucks will
get close we will see

mossman381 says:

Yeah, a new cat and the truck runs good. That video will be up soon. Not
sure how high the shop is. The truck does not get anywhere near the
ceiling. We can pull our semi’s in the shop. I think the doors are 16ft
high.

MrGiovannix12 says:

Oh im sure its that high if you can get a tractor in there. We are not
using this shop for our equipment but for a little shop at home. Sure beats
working outside all the time and on the floor.

mossman381 says:

I didn’t change the shocks when I did the ball joints. This truck has a
raddle in the front too. I thought it was the ball joints but after
changing top and bottom joints it still has the noise when I hit bumps. I
think it is the upper a-arm bushings are wore out. Steering on this truck
is tight so that is not the noise.

mossman381 says:

I am not sure about one of those. I would have to see it work before I
would buy one. It really is not that bad on the hoist.

farmboy30117 says:

I see they didn’t change much. I had a ’92 4×4 s10 and I had to elongate
the holes in the crossmember so I could slide it back some without removing
it to get the trans pan off.

davidgriffin14 says:

what???? take it to the car wash? omg.. you have every tool a guy could
want, and no pressure washer? lol love your vids!

mossman381 says:

I can ask dad but they have to be 20 some feet high. The lift has paid for
itself and then some by now.

MrGiovannix12 says:

did you figure out the running issues? How high is that shop and how far
does the truck stay away from the ceiling. WE are building a shop here soon.
