Great job and awesome tips and video, but I'm just wondering how much the customer paid for this. A new hood is in the neighborhood of $500, fully decorated at that. Nice job though.

Another great video Fitzee! Thanks for the tips. Your tip about using 18 gauge vs 20 caught my ear. I usually use 20 and save the heavier stuff for where I have to match up to the original thicker stuff, like floors and such, but your tip makes a lot of sense. I'm gonna try using the 18 gauge more often now. Thanks again, Larry

Are you a car guy? the hood you're working on is a 1967 1972 is much different than a 1967 another tip a media blaster is so much better than grinder grinders eat away the metal. thinking I sound like a hater sorry

Great job! ; and good to see that you do use a helmet on occasion, I use mine even though they are a pain as I have photo phobia and get half blind even in direct sunlight so even the indirect flash of an arc gives me headaches. (I do see in the dark pretty well though ha) keep the good works we are learning a bunch and having great fun listening to your dialogue. ;-}

I saw one company on Ebay asking $22.90 for one 1-1/2" edge clamp. I purchase from aircraft supply companies before I would Ebay or Summit Racing, the prices are usually better.

Always lived these trucks. My parents had one in the long grass part of the lawn. It was my grandpa's, gave it to my dad. They both died. Anyway, I wanted this truck, which in winter was used as a small tobogganing hill. I decided when I was 12 it was mine. Then it got traded for hay. So, if i ever get an old truck, this will be the one
