It sounds dumb but I unplugged my battery let it sit for a couple minutes and plugged it back up and it worked fine

Aarron ching says:

change out selector switch/ and new modural change fluid

Aarron ching says:

you have your car in natural!

IAMDAVEAMI says:

oi
first of all undo everything the last person did
that is messing it up even more and more loads to work with
after all that is done check your avactor under your battery tray
remove battery then tray its a round rubber plunger thingy if that has a tear in it then replace it if not then check your trannsfer case switch driver side over front drive shaft on top some times they get stuck
if its not going into 4×4 or anything then your avactors is the first thing dont mess it up more
the end
🙂

Im having the same problem with my 95 blazer.did u ever figure it out?i could use some advice.thanks

em88trooperable says:

It’s either a vacuum leak or bad module. But I would take wire out that other guy put in there

TRX4LIFE53 says:

Idk what ur truck is doing, but i think the guy putting the switch in there instead of getting it fixed was retarted and if u do off-roading u could have dislodged something. My truck doesnt have a problem with the four-wheel drive and it has sat untouched for three years after a harsh use before it was left in a driveway and i am now coming to find out that the alternator causes a lot o shit to go bad

bruce234rb says:

U need either a new vacuum line or a new dialator

Johnny Walker says:

mine does the same fucking thing did u ever get it fixed im thinking its a vacum line but idk

Garrett Kinch says:

make sure those electrical connections are good in the transfer case control module, I had the same problem and I played with the wires until I figured out where the connection problem was.

phil199212 says:

hi my blazer did the same thing you do has to settle the problem? thank you

colorado1516 says:

did you check your fuses? might be a burned out fuse or take our your 4×4 switch on the dash and clean the wiring with some electric cleaner and re apply dielectric greese. if it’s not either of those you might need to just replace the switch, it’s about 30 dollars on 1Aauto. i replaced my switch. Hope this helps but definently replace the 4×4 fuse before you do anything else, it’s probably a simple fix. have a good day!

Jacob Greniger says:

Do u know why i have know power to my 4 wheel drive switch on the dash tried diff switch cleaned pins on the trans moduale box on the kick panel please help

colorado1516 says:

i replaced the transfer case control module, and 4×4 switch and it needed a new tccm but that wasn’t the problem. I took it to a GMC dealership and they fixed it. They said i needed a new actualtor switch
