the instructions that came with the rings will show you the difference in
ALL types of top rings versus bottom rings , including the ones you have .
i cant show you this by typing, i will post a video on it .

how could you tell which is top ring and second ring
the gap in the end of a piston ring must always be oriented on opposite
sides of the piston,one in the front (forward) side ,one towards the back (
NOT on the sides where the pin is) top ring is usually beveled different
from the bottom ring ,so separate them prior to install , they should be
color coded . top of all rings are marked with a indented dot .
the shape of them.look at the bottom of the ring .one is beveled and the
rings should have instructions to show which one goes on bottom ,the other
goes on top .also the color of the painted dot on the top of the ring. if
you dont have it,let me know and i will do another vid with my instructions.
