Hello JJ, been watching your video's on TV but I can't comment on the TV just leave a thumbs up for you. lol My wife (Nancy) and I are enjoying watching them very much. I have to admit the more you do, the less it seems I'll be able to truck camp. We still want to though . We're now thinking of a Lance 975 but that's about a 1,000 pounds heavier than your camper. Remember I have a 2022, diesel quad cab with 52 hundred pounds payload. Factory air bags. Anyway you're looking good and it sure hot here in Ga. 92 today, sorry wasn't taught any Celsius or anything like that. I think that sway bars a tad low but if you know it's low you know to watch out for that. You go places I wouldn't. I'm anxious to see your battery set up. How's the Northern lite in the summer heat? If you have time give us update on that. Truck looks great and one really nice garage. Take care, Bill in Georgia

U can run a 255/80/17 tire on a dually thats what alot of guys run so they dont need wheel spacers. There almost 34.5 inches tall

I used to run 285/70/17 on my dodge dually with 1/4 inch wheel spacer i never had any issues with rubbing always kept them at 80psi

I am shocked that GM doesn't seem to have a rear anti swaybar as an option or as standard equipment on a dually, especially any truck ordered as a campers special !. They certainly did from what I saw many years back on the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I believe dodge is the same in that they don't come with one either on the back. I may had mentioned months back when I stumbled across your channel that my brother has an older 2006 ford F350 dually and while it came with both front and rear swaybars from the factory, they were not sufficient enough for hauling a substantial sized and tall slide in camper and was unsafe to drive in side winds or around curves. I encouraged him to install upgraded thicker swaybars both front and rear ( Roadmaster made both for his vintage of truck ) and its like a different truck now. He had already installed the upper and lower stable loads and while they helped, it just wasn't enough. Have to throw the kitchen sink at some of these trucks to better manage these top heavy campers. I am curious if you notice a difference in how the upgraded shocks perform compared to the factory units ?. As to the placement of the rear anti swaybar, I hear you as that isn't ideal for ground clearance and yet that is the mounting surface on the axle that is provided by GM it would appear.

Bob Frazier says:

I'm sorta surprised you did this with that dually, JJ. Hope ot makes a nice difference for you.
