Cómo hago yo pongo el carro en tiempo y no me prende es un Aveo 2005
Nice video.
This video is very helpful. Thanks. Going to do a head gasket job and needed this part to complete disassembly. Again thanks mucho!
The tool he shows is GM Special Tool "J-42494-A"…. the particular one he shows (that costs around $30) is an OTC 536173. Lisle makes the same tool as part number 13500 (look on Amazon) for about half the price.
I just gotta say this video clip is the most thorough on YouTube. You make the whole process so clear, I gotta thank you for this man.
I can see the benefit now of getting the tool for the water pump. Again really helpful bro.
I have a 2011 Aveo water pump the change, looking at your video, it looks like a good idea to change the pulley tensioner and timing belt if need be.
Did draining the power steering fluid make things easier or could it be left in situ?
I was thinking of taking the aveo to a technician but after watching your video, I am confident it is something I could do.
Is it essential to have the impact tools to remove pulley bolts or can it be done with standard, non-impact tools?
Thanks again man for taking time to share this vid with us all.
Andy
Excellent job. Thanks
