Unless your replacing that tie rod then use pickle forks all day long. 99% of the time vibration will loosen the outer tie rod by using a 24oz or heaver ball peen hammer. You will have to have strength and the ability to swing a hammer and hit the correct spot on the knuckle. Same with the ball joint.
DON’T USE PICKLE FORKS, They will ruin the boot on the tie rod end and ball joint. kent moore sells a factory tool for the ball joint J41820 , you can get on ebay for a lot less, get a universal tie rod puller….no pickle forks…ever.
