Thank you for the vid JP. Just curious if the factory display still works showing the clock after this. Or is that factory unit just completely dead when you install this way?

What is that one single dark green wire next to the plugs you unplugged from the old tuner

Chris Nielsen says:

Why did you have remove the A/C vents from that plastic piece you removed? Doesn’t air just come through there?

Hi my husband has a 1991 Chevy Silverado every time he turns radio on hardly any radio stations come in and when they do it staticky he has a brand new CD player with brand new speakers he thinks it's the antenna wire in the antenna

chris harris says:

Great video! I just bought an old truck with a radio that doesn't work so I planned to add one I have but wasn't sure about the process. This makes it easy and I was able to get all the parts you mention from amazon. Thanks and well done!

Andrew Hill says:

That helped other then the fact my gm wire harness is cut off so not sure what do to abt that

Dan H says:

What did you do with the sterio head in the right main part of the dash? Its actually the controller, display, etc. Reason asking, if not needed, would like to use space for gauges.

Also, what unit do you find best in sound/features for this model truck. I kinda like the EQ, will miss it. And finally, can a LCD style unit fit in that pocket once removing brackets etc. Thx!

Jesse Sandwich Jr. says:

Don't LOSE it….hah I lost it when I heard that haha!

Chris Collins says:

I put mine in and I have power but one sounds? Anything I can do
