Why the RTV? Shouldn’t need any.
Can you get just the bearing? Or do you have to buy the whole assembly
Buy the whole thing, it’s all one piece.
I have not looked into it. Bearing assemblies are fairly cheap- ABS tone
rings can be tough to press without damage and the center hub/spindle will
often weld themselves onto a bad bearing on many models where hub bearings
must be pressed on and off. I have had a few customers choose the cheaper
Chinese replacements- and so far they are holding up. I have seen quite a
few bearings fail on the RH side- makes me wonder if there is a chassis
grounding issue while cranking? (seen before)
